Professional experience: Former police officer; private investigator; executive camp director, Camp Scoggins, which is named in memory of her late father, basketball coach Willie Scoggins Jr.

Civic experience: She is District 5, College Hills Neighborhood president; She also is or has been the District 5 crime prevention officer, vice president of the Smithfield Community, a basketball camp organizer and fitness team member with Healthy Churches 2020 and Sixth Avenue Baptist Church.

Education: Graduateof John Carroll Catholic High School; attended Birmingham-Southern College and the Birmingham Police Academy.
