Main issues: Improving the electoral system is at the heart of Adams-Gardner’s candidacy.
“My vision for Jefferson County is simple, to increase voter awareness and education,” she said. “Voting is the foundation of our democracy. It is imperative that every individual be aware of each opportunity to cast ballots in all local, state and national elections. My office will increase efforts to educate all voters on deadlines, processes and opportunities to exercise this precious right.”
Gardner will draw from her experience in banking and finance.
“The circuit clerk’s office directs the flow of all monies collected through the Jefferson County court system. I will use my knowledge and experience in banking to ensure full accountability in the handling of these funds. We will also provide regular explanations so that those who use the system are fully aware of the process,” she said.
