Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s “Green New Deal is the most dangerous policy proposal of our lifetime. … We can fight AOC and Bernie Sanders right here in Alabama, at the PSC, by holding the line on an agenda that values life, freedom and our right to earn a living to take care of our families.”

In another Yellowhammer News story in September about out-of-state environmental activist groups attempting to influence Alabama policies, Cavanaugh said, “The people of Alabama are too smart to buy what these liberal California groups are selling. What they are selling is rolling blackouts and higher bills. They want to keep their donors in the dark and then keep Alabama families in the dark when the grid crashes. That’s exactly what happened when the environmentalists got their way in California.”
