Political Experience: Runningfor Jefferson County Sheriff.

Professional Experience: Currently an investigator in the Calera Police Department. He retired from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office as a captain in 2024 after 30 years of service. Before becoming captain, he worked across multiple divisions, including patrol, school resource officer, cold case homicide and corrections. Has served on the national advisory board for Offender Watch and the Quality Assurance Committee for the Alabama Department of Human Resources.

Education: Associate’s in criminal justice from Columbia Southern University. Alabama Peace Officers Standards and Training certified. Holds certificates and has undergone specialized training in multiple law enforcement specialties.

Main Issues: Dedicated gang units tasked exclusively to enforce the Alabama Criminal Enterprise and Gang Activity Act of 2023; competitive signing bonuses and pay scales to increase recruitment and retention; establish a full-time Crimes Against Children and Human Trafficking Unit to pursue child predators.  Campaign:Website, Facebook.
