Main issues: Ward believes in limited government as well as strong protections of 2nd Amendment rights, according to his campaign website. During his legislative career, he has championed stronger ethics laws and pro-growth measures that reduced the amount of government regulation in the private sector; tort reform; reforming Alabama’s criminal justice system; and insurance for those on the autism spectrum.
