Main Issues: If elected, Murphy said he is committed to expanding research to help Alabama farmers cut costs, reduce the use of chemicals and increase production, while protecting the environment and the food supply and increasing farm profits. He also wants to promote Alabama farm products and industries internationally. He is also committed to growing agriculture education, to encourage a new generation of farmers.
