Civic experience: Board member, Lawson State Foundation, Birmingham Baptist College, Step & Transition Drug Recovery Foundation, and former member, Bessemer/Regional Red Cross; chaplain, City of Hueytown, Birmingham Fire & Rescue, former chaplain, Bessemer Police Department.
Education: Associate in Arts in retail and management; Bachelor of Science in rehabilitation and counseling; Master of Arts in pastoral counseling; Doctor of Ministry.
Main issues: “My goal has been to ensure taxpayers are knowledgeable about all exemptions for which they may qualify. I participate in church, community and chamber events so that the public is consistently informed of our services. I want taxpayers to know that we are here to serve them.”
