Main issues: There are 435 Congressional Districts in the U.S. Of those, we are 435th in life expectancy, dead last in living. Many areas of the 7th suffer serious environmental injustice. The poor living environments of people is a major contributor to our shared poor life span. Most, if not all, of the rural hospitals are closed. People are dying because they live too far from emergency and preventative medical sites.
