Coronavirus Cases Take a Tick Upward

Alabama has added 1,400 cases of coronavirus since Friday and four more people died of the disease.

The average of 466 cases per day is 8% more than last week’s daily case average, but a drop of 89% from the 4,280 cases per day reported on Jan. 10.

In total, the state has logged 514,980 cases of the disease and 10,527 deaths since the pandemic began a year ago.
