Main issues: If elected, the candidate wants to work to inform the community of successes in the Birmingham school system. She wants to make sure the superintendent feels comfortable working with the board, always putting the needs of the children first.  Also, she wants to make sure facilities are safe  learning environments;  to work with the board to think of ways to not depend on government taxes to fund some school system programs; and to inform parents where school money is going so they will get involved with school projects.
