With inclusiveness, I will ensure that every resident throughout Jefferson County will feel safe despite of where in the county they reside. Whether they live Over the Mountain or in a smaller city within the municipality such as Fairfield, everyone deserves a peace of mind. Transparency within the Sheriff’s Department is also something that I believe needs to be addressed. It is imperative that the community is aware of the inner workings of the police department to ensure that we are able to bridge the gap between the community and the police. Policing needs to be brought into the 21^st century.”
