According to the Montgomery Advertiser, Shelby spoke at a League of Women Voters forum and said he wanted to work to lower Alabama’s high ballot access requirements for third-party candidates, and he has expressed support for ranked-choice voting. Shelby also supports automatic voter registration, early voting and no-excuse absentee voting.
