I can certainly understand that your family has a unique and painful relationship to this case. As a historian I must evaluate information from the past based on many factors, including the realities of the time in question. And while I stand by my review I do hope you know I meant no harm to your family.

I’m glad to know you are also researching the case. Dr. Morrison has written a fine book, but I’m sure she would agree that we can never have too many voices speaking on a topic, or too many different perspectives contributing to our understanding.
