*The Alabama state Republican Party has said it will not certify votes cast for Bonner in the PSC Place 1 race. The party censured him earlier in the week and urged people not to vote for him because of comments and social media posts that have been called racist, sexist and anti-Semitic.

Bonner said the social media posts have been taken out of context. He has said he is talking with his lawyer about appealing the decision.
