We will search for and/or provide more innovative instructional tools, training and opportunities for students. There will be a renewed focus on more 21st century learning opportunities for students. I also plan to engage families and communities with student, parent and teacher advisory committees that act as consultants to me as the leader. Safety and discipline, of course, will be critical to making Shelby County Schools the best learning environment for all.”
