Education: Interdisciplinary major with concentration in finance, political science, history and English, University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Main issues: Miles stresses his commitment to investing county funds in local financial institutions, particularly minority-owned banks. “Serving with the purpose of investing in communities for today and for the future while building a strong, transparent county government is drawing on a lifetime of experience,” Miles says on his campaign website.
