Main issues: “As a candidate for judge, one shouldn’t make promises other than to be fair and impartial to all. I possess the skill set that will enable me to reach young people in a positive way. I will promote and employ programs in my courtroom that will provide life skills help to people who come before the court as defendants. For instance, people who are charged with certain nonviolent offenses, like drug related offenses, will be offered drug treatment/rehab, instead of incarceration. Let’s adequately treat the problems that sometimes lead to a life of crime, instead of treating the symptoms. As a circuit court judge, I will respect the rule and spirit of the law.”
