Professional experience: Solar trainer with the Department of Energy’s Solar Instructor Training Network and an inaugural student of the Environmental Protection Agency’s Environmental Justice Academy; master electrician.
Education: Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in microbiology, 1985.
Main issues: Hopes to make power affordable to all Alabamians. Advocates for self-sufficiency, controlling inflation, small government, environmental justice, energy independence, women’s rights, veteran’s rights and constitutional rights. Believes in using a paper ballot as well as voting receipts. Page-Nelson wants to work on problems in Alabama, including poverty, mass incarceration and corruption. She wants to protect the rights of small family farms and farmers’ rights to grow and breed; strengthen the economy through entrepreneurship and technology; keep educated citizens in the state.
