The Jefferson County Commission is back up to its required five members after Mike Bolin was sworn in Monday as the newest commissioner. Bolin recently was elected to the District 5 seat, left vacant when Steve Ammons resigned to become CEO of the Birmingham Business Alliance.

Bolin was sworn in by former Judge John H. Alsbrooks. Bolin’s daughter Leigh Anne Balsman held the Bible as her mother, Rosemary Bolin, stood beside her (out of frame).
