Main issues: DuPriest said supporting small businesses is essential and she will fight for funding and legislation to be established. Another key area of focus in her campaign includes education; she believes parents should have the right to select public or private education to enhance the future careers of their children. Another goal is to modernize military capabilities and to enhance health, mental and rehabilitative care, increase employment, entrepreneurship and reduce homelessness among military veterans.
