Red-tailed hawk

A recent study on the decline of the North American bird population shows the numbers of red-tailed hawks, bald eagles or other members of the hawk family are an exception. The Cornell Lab of Ornithology states that red-tailed populations “increased throughout much of their range between 1966 and 2015, according to the North American Breeding Bird Survey.” (Source: Tom Gordon)
